Six-Fours-les-Plages
Six Fours Les Plages is a charming Provencal seaside resort located in the Var department of Provence-Alpes-Cote-d’Azur. This pretty village has a unique location between the sea and the forest behind it and benefits from 18km of beaches, rocky inlets and little harbours. In the area there are 125 medieval hamlets to explore and a 3000 hectare Mediterranean forest where you can go horse-riding, mountain biking, cycling and walking. The many coastal trails take you to the fishing port of Brusc where you will find an animated nightlife and beautiful surroundings. From Brusc you can head directly to the island of Embiez which is a centre for salt water therapy, scuba diving and general pleasurable activities. Six Fours Les Plages is very much a sports resort with activities that include deep sea fishing, scuba diving, regattas, kayaking, sailing, water skiing, rowing, tennis, archery and many more. If you prefer more of a cultural experience then there are many festivals, markets, jazz, theatre, exhibitions etc.
